Structural adhesive has high strength, peel resistance, impact resistance, and simple construction process. The stress distribution on the bonding surface is uniform, and there is no thermal impact or deformation on the parts. Generally, structural adhesive will not fall off after being applied to ceramic tiles. It can only be applied when the cement wall is very firm. If the mortar is particularly loose, it cannot be applied. The amount of tile adhesive used is determined by two factors: the flatness of the base surface and the thickness of the tiling.

1. The tile adhesive thin pasting method is used for tiling, which requires the use of a toothed scraper to scrape the tile adhesive. The scraper teeth can scrape off excess slurry for recycling, effectively reducing the amount used. Thick tiling of ceramic tiles requires a large amount of adhesive and incurs high costs. Moreover, thick pasting will cause a certain degree of shrinkage and cannot fully utilize the effectiveness of tile adhesive.

2. If the base surface is uneven, it is recommended to first use cement mortar to level the base surface and then use tile adhesive to tile it, which can reduce the amount of tile adhesive used.
